I feel really good today. After taking nearly a month off from working out, I have actually worked out four days in a row this week...not to mention I actually got up at 7 this morning, which has been my goal as of late (and the reason I took a "break" from working out for a month). I have been trying to get myself on a new schedule and had not been succeeding until now. Of course, the other person in the house is not extremely happy with my getting up so early because it involves my clock/radio/CD player blaring, since when it's not blaring I simply sleep through it.But yeah...I'm feeling really good...in shape, or heading there, and all that jazz. And this Saturday I get to go to Charlotte and see my beautiful little sister Amber (who's not so little anymore) dance in the Nutcracker (en pointe...blows me away). And Sunday is the first meeting for next summer's trip to England. I am so psyched (most of the time) about that. Gotta go get a shower so I can make it to my first lesson on time...

So I've been sick for three days now. I must have some sort of nasty stomach virus that's slowly working its way through my system. Too slowly. At least I'm not throwing up now. I better than I did yesterday and MUCH better than the day before, but I don't feel like I can safely travel too far away from my toilet so it's kind of keeping me confined to my house. I made it out to one lesson this morning, but that's it.Go away, stupid virus!!!

I went to yoga basics class at the YMCA with my sister on Saturday. I had a great time in the class and actually did all the poses pretty well and with not too much difficulty. But yesterday I was so sore, and today my legs are even worse. The backs of my thighs are knots. I'm gonna try to work out today, but we'll see how long I last. But despite the soreness, I really think I might want to join the Y. They have so much cool stuff there. I just wish Thomas could afford a membership, too, because I would love to take him with me.

I just have to tell everyone how smart I feel today...computer smart, that is. Thomas and I (mainly Thomas) were installing Kubuntu Linux on my mom's computer last night and couldn't get her computer to connect to the wireless network. It got late and we gave up. So today I decided to install Ubuntu on my own. Now, I have never ever installed any sort of operating system before, but I had kind of watched Thomas, and he gave me a little tiny bit of advice on the phone today, so I just went for it. And it worked! Everything worked! I even got the computer connected to the internet wirelessly on my second attempt. I am so proud of myself! That's all. I'm going to sleep smiley tonight...
