Washington State's Cook Named Pac-10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week April Cook (Carson, Calif.) scored a career-high 33 points against Arizona State on Saturday, leading WSU to its first league win of the season and the Cougars' first victory in Tempe, Ariz. in 13 years, 66-62. The victory also snapped an 11-game losing streak to ASU, spanning nearly six years. The 33 points were the most scored by a Cougar in over a decade and the ninth-most all-time in the program's history.
