After 26 years, veteran lyricist Gulzar and music maestro Ilayaraja are teaming up for 'SRK'. The last time they worked together was in 1983, for the Sridevi-Kamal starrer 'Sadma. Music Happening - Gulzar walks out of Billu Barber Highly respected and even venerated in Bollywood, quietly walked out of the much-awaited upcoming film Billu Barber when Shah Rukh Khan requested Gulzar to somehow include the words 'Love mera hit hit' in one of the songs in Billu. Since Gulzar never includes words unless he is convinced, he did not do so. Music Happening - Making Royal Music After maintaining a low profile for a while, Sandesh Shandilya, the deliverer of blockbuster numbers like 'Suraj Hua' and 'You Are My Sonia' (Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham), 'Sajna Ve' (Chameli) and hit albums, is set to jump right back into the spotlight. Fans can hear him in Ketan Mehta's latest celluloid venture 'Rang Rasiya', a biopic on legendary painter Raja Ravi Varma. Music Happening - Dr. L. Subramaniam honored Dr. L. Subramaniam, leading violinist, musician and composer, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Music by the University of Sheffield in the UK. The ceremony was presided over by Pro-Vice-Chancellor Geoff Tomlinson.
